Stephen Karbelk, CAI, AARE
Co-Chairman and Founder
Stephen has had an extensive career in the real estate and auction business. Since his first job in real estate when he was 14 years old, Stephen has been full-time in the auction business for nearly every day of his working career. His experience spans real estate and auction transactions in over 25 states over the past 22 years.
As founding partner, Stephen has developed the systems and business model to establish and grow one of the largest real estate auction companies in the country. He has been involved in the sale of all types of commercial property including hospitality, office buildings, industrial and manufacturing facilities, multi-family complexes, shopping centers, development land, retail, and many other special purpose properties.
Larry Latham, CAI
Co-Chairman and Founder
Since 1978, Larry has focused on how to structure, develop and build companies that have dominated specific markets both nationally and internationally. During this time he secured and managed large multi-billion dollar contracts and portfolios from Banks, Multi-National Corporations and Government agencies, which have included the Department of Defense, FCC, HUD, U.S Customs, Treasury Department, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac.
He has acted as a prime contractor for the above referenced entities and many other financial and banking institutions both here and abroad. Many of the national contracts awarded to the Latham Companies were exclusive only to his company and resulted in the sale of over 150,000 commercial and residential properties.
Stan Schreyer, Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Schreyer has become a leader in the auction industry by combining his experience and strategic leadership concepts in both the real estate and technology sectors. He has improved and expanded the market of real estate coaching, training and mentoring programs. Stan has acquired extensive expertise in driving sales, marketing, general management and accelerated growth strategies for many companies. Among these strategies, he was a pioneer in creating successful marketing and independent agent sales models for technology frontrunners. He has a proven understanding and expertise of building top quality leadership teams and reaching maximum field sales and coverage on a regional, national and international scale. Before joining AmeriBid, Stan held positions as VP of Sales, COO and CEO, as well as founding Schreyer Associates, Inc. and Marketlink Technologies. His philosophy: “It’s not important who is right. Let’s all get it right — as a team!”
Rob Hart, President and Chief Operating Officer
Rob has been involved in the auction business for the past 6 years in many different capacities including his most recent position as the Director of Business Development for AmeriBid. He has held multiple executive, operational, sales, project management and IT positions throughout his career. He is also an active member of the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car auction staff. He has logistics and systems management undergraduate degrees from the University of Arkansas and a MBA from the University of Tulsa. He is a graduate of The Worldwide College of Auctioneering and he holds an Oklahoma Real Estate license. Rob manages all aspects of our Operations, Finance, and Information Systems Departments.
John Pellow, Vice President
John has been with the company since 2009. In his previous position as Chief Marketing Officer, he was responsible for corporate brand management and all aspects of marketing from strategy to implementation. Currently as Vice President, John’s focus is on building strong key client relationships locally, regionally and nationally. His expertise and commitment to client service and creating solutions for the sales team will create a “Win, Win, Win” for the client, buyer and AmeriBid. Having spent over 22 years of his professional career in various aspects of marketing, sales and operations, he has become an expert in his field. Prior to joining the company, John was the Director of Marketing for a real estate auction and brokerage services firm where he was responsible for the marketing and sales support of several divisions including Commercial Real Estate, Farms and Ranches, Premiere Properties and Online Only divisions. He has also held several high level positions with a major wireless communications company and national retail sporting goods chain. John graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma and holds his Oklahoma real estate license.
Cort Lenz, Director of Valuation & Analytics
Cort is responsible for the operational management and implementation of the companies valuation department. He also assists with client movement and manages the operational process of several of our auctions. He joins the company team with more than six years of real estate auction and auction valuation experience. Previously, at the real estate auction and brokerage firm, Williams & Williams, Cort created and managed the Property Evaluation Department. He has held positions in the Tax Department of The Money Store, in the Valuation Department of Horizon Management Services/First Union, and provided Asset Management and Valuation Expertise to Aurora Loan Services and Lehman Brothers during a Real Estate Portfolio Purchase with HUD. Cort is a graduate of Westminster College in Fulton, MO and holds his Oklahoma real estate license.
Jan Dunham, Manager of Accounting
Jan is responsible for all of the daily financial matters and monitors each property throughout the auction cycle. Post auction administration responsibilities include facilitation of contract management, closing all transactions and final cost distribution. She acts as liaison and onsite supervisor for the company’s human resource, payroll administration and staffing partners and assists in the design and development of corporate operational processes and internal controls. Accomplished in a wide variety of accounting and operational elements with more than 25 years of experience in diverse industries, Jan joined the company in 2010 with three plus years of real estate auction experience and holds her Oklahoma Real Estate license.
Jarem Atkinson, Marketing Manager
Jarem is based in our Salt Lake City office where he is responsible for the corporate brand management of all channels of marketing, dealing from strategy to implementation. Prior to joining AmeriBid, Jarem was the marketing manager for a sports hydration beverage company where he managed all marketing and athlete sponsorships. He has also held influential graphic design and brand strategist positions in an innovative full-service marketing agency, where he assisted in the creation of iOS apps, web apps, and other traditional marketing campaigns. Jarem attended Bringham Young University and Utah Valley University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.
Alanna James, Marketing Coordinator
Alanna joined the company in 2011. She is responsible for managing proposed marketing budgets for new auctions and providing new auction implementation services including direct mail, e-mail campaigns and the digital dataroom. She also serves as the marketing representative when presenting new auction information to the marketing team. Alanna holds her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication from Baylor University and moved to Tulsa in 2010.
Calista Firor, Marketing Coordinator
Calista joined the company in 2011 and is responsible for new auction implementation services. This includes copywriting responsibilities, production and approval of digital & print media marketing, maintenance of property listings on key websites, and reporting marketing statistics. Prior to joining the company, Calista spent 6 years in community and church development at Crossroads Christian Church in Brooklyn, NY. Calista has extended experience in office management, collections, and hospitality. Calista graduated from Ozark Christian College in 2004.
Michelle Baker, Marketing Coordinator
Michelle joined the company in 2012 and is responsible for public relations management, including writing press releases, social media, and creating marketing reports for clients. Her other focuses include digital media listings and management of the marketing invoicing and statistics post-auction. Michelle graduated cum laude from the University of Arkansas in 2007 with a degree in Marketing Management. Before joining AmeriBid, she held previous marketing positions in the fields of interior design and music.
Toni Todd, Auction Services Coordinator
Toni joined the company at the beginning of 2012 and is responsible for providing Customer Service and Administrative Support. This includes telemarketing, reporting, broker and non-disclosure registrations, and Inspection and auction day setup. Toni’s past experience includes over 5 years with the US Department of Agriculture and she holds a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Animal Science – Business from Oklahoma State University.
Brooke Mullen, Manager of Agent Onboarding
Brooke joined the company in 2012 and is responsible for providing assistance to new agents and as they make the transition to being a part of the AmeriBid team. She holds her Oklahoma real estate license and has been in the real estate auction business for over four years. Throughout her auction career, she has been involved in tens of thousands of real estate auctions. Brooke has been a member of the National Auctioneers Association since 2012 and has held positions at multiple national auction companies giving her a broad background in operations relating to auction.
Sales Team
Dan Falls, Regional Vice President
Dan is based in our Salt Lake City office where he concentrates his sales efforts in the northwest region in addition to other national clients. He has a multi-faceted background, including experience in sales management, equity raising, marketing and finance, along with 12 years of real estate experience. Prior to joining AmeriBid, he acted as Vice President of Commercial Real Estate at a national auction company, where he successfully auctioned hundreds of commercial assets for corporate, financial, and individual clients. Dan has served in all capacities of real estate including auction, sales, equity and debt raising, private placement, 1031 exchanges, and real estate backed investment vehicles. He has over $2.5 Billion in transactions during his career. Dan is a hard-to-find combination of sales skills, a deep understanding of complex real estate transactions, and the ability to maintain a corporate/owner’s perspective in decision-making. His versatility and range of real estate auction experience make him a tremendous asset to AmeriBid.
Tim Lile, CAI, Regional Vice President, Auctioneer
Tim is a third-generation auctioneer based in Dayton, Ohio. He has specialized in the marketing and sale of real estate at auction since being licensed in 1996. Much of his time since 2008 has been spent conducting REO and foreclosure auctions for major lending institutions. He currently serves as Southwest Director for the Ohio Auctioneer’s Association and was the 1997 Ohio State Bid-Calling Champion. He attended Missouri Auction School, holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from Ohio University and received his designation from the Certified Auctioneer’s Institute in 2010. Tim is a proud member of his State and National Auctioneer and Realtor associations as well as the Actors Equity Association.
Marc Geyer, CAI, AARE, BAS, CES, d-GPPA, Regional Director, Auctioneer, Broker
Marc is global auction marketing consultant. An experienced real estate broker and auction professional who has demonstrated his expertise in the marketing and sale of a wide range of properties in Arizona, California and New Mexico. With over 20 years of experience, Marc has owned his own real estate auction business that conducted sales of over 1000 properties in the Southwest and contracted for a national luxury real estate auction firm where he worked with sellers in the Southwest and Pacific Regions of the country including Hawaii. Based in Mesa, Ariz., he is a graduate of the Worldwide College of Auctioneering in 1986.
Paul A. Lynn, CCIM, Regional Director, Broker
Paul is based in Houston, TX and focuses on new business development, with a primary focus on Texas properties. Paul has a 35+ year real estate career, with 20+ years specializing in auctions and accelerated marketing. Paul has focused his expertise in real estate investment sales (traditional and auctions) and leasing of all types of commercial, residential, and special purpose properties, with aggregate value totaling over $1 Billion. Paul is a frequent speaker, has had multiple articles published, and is widely quoted as an expert regarding the benefits of accelerated marketing via real estate auction methods. Paul received the coveted CCIM designation in 1987 and currently serves on the National CCIM Executive Committee. Paul received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Drake University. He is a licensed real estate broker in Texas, Illinois, Oklahoma, Florida, and Louisiana and a licensed auctioneer in Texas.
T. Randolph “Randy” Ligon, CAI, CES, BAS, Regional Director, Auctioneer, Broker
Randy has over 20 years of experience as a Commercial Realtor and Auctioneer and has lived in the Charlotte, NC area most of his life. Randy is a graduate of the Missouri Auction School and Clemson University and is a candidate for his CCIM designation. His professional career also includes working for the South Carolina National Bank and First Union National Bank as a trust officer and city executive. Randy is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the South Carolina Auctioneers Association. As an accomplished professional benefit auctioneer, Randy enjoys raising millions of dollars for worthy causes.
Ken “Whitey” Mason, CAI, Regional Director, Auctioneer
2011 Oklahoma State Champion Auctioneer
Whitey has conducted over 6,500 auctions. Among his most recent accomplishments, Whitey was the lead auctioneer on several auction campaigns that sold for over $5,000,000 each. His mission is to understand and serve each client; bringing fresh insight, a comprehensive and strategic approach, and the utmost dedication to every auction from start to finish. Whitey is a longtime member of the Oklahoma State Auctioneers Association, serving two years as President and three years on the Board of Directors. He also works at several automobile auctions in Texas and Oklahoma, and is a member of the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction team in Scottsdale, AZ. Whitey graduated from the Missouri Auction School in 1989.
Fernando Palacios, Regional Director, Broker
Fernando manages the Mid-Atlantic office. Having been in the real estate industry since 1992, he has been involved in many types of real estate transactions including land development parcels, portfolio bank sales, and complex development transactions. Fernando’s responsibilities include project management, sale preparation and closing coordination. He is also responsible for new business development relationships in the Mid-Atlantic marketplace. Fernando holds a Virginia, Washington DC, Maryland and Pennsylvania broker’s license.
Christopher “Chris” Vaughan, Regional Director, Auctioneer, Broker
Chris manages the California office. His experience includes 20 years as an executive in residential and commercial development. Chris developed, built and sold over 9,000 properties including multi-family rental, multi-family for-sale and single-family for-sale homes across 9 western states. He earned a B.S. Degree in Finance at California State University, Long Beach and an M.B.A. Degree in Real Estate & Urban Development from Golden Gate University, San Francisco. Chris is an alumnus of the World Wide College of Auctioneering, holds a California Real Estate Broker’s License and is a member of the Board of Directors of the San Diego Bankruptcy Forum.
Steven Mathis, Regional Director, Broker
Since 1997, Steven Mathis has been involved in both real estate and real estate auction industries. He has conducted managed highly structured and intricate transactions across the Southeastern United States representing both buyers and sellers. Mathis is a graduate of The University of Georgia and The Missouri Auction School. He is a licensed real estate broker and auctioneer in Georgia, Florida, and Alabama.
Jacob Hart, Regional Director, Auctioneer
Jacob resides in Rochester, MN and has been involved in real estate business mergers and acquisitions for the past 3 years. Prior to focusing on real estate, he gained extensive sales & marketing experience in the turnaround management world throughout the Midwest. Jacob is a graduate of SDSU and WWCA. He is very passionate about the real estate and auction business and loves bringing young new life to the industry!
Samantha Carlson, Regional Director, Auctioneer, Agent
Samantha has been in the property management, residential/commercial leasing and the real estate sales business for several years. She has also run a very successful business asset and equipment auction company. She graduated from MSB and World Wide College of Auctioneering and holds her real estate license in Minnesota. Samantha currently focuses on marketing, sales and real estate negotiations throughout the Midwest. She is a master of communication and psychology of sales and strives for excellence in everything she does.
John Mayeron, Regional Director, Agent
John has been in the real estate industry for the last 25+ years and joined the company in 2012 after heading acquisitions for a North Texas commercial real estate auction company. Working from Dallas, John will concentrate on business development with a focus on exceeding each clients’ expectations through one-on-one attention to detail while using a creative team approach to maximize the correct solution. He received his undergraduate degrees from the University of Oregon, and is a licensed real estate salesperson in Texas.
Travis Kaddatz, Regional Director, Auctioneer, Agent

Travis, is a second generation auctioneer with over 15 years experience in the auction industry. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University Commerce, Texas Auction Academy, and the Professional Ringman’s Institute (PRI). He is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Texas Auctioneers Association and the Fellowship of Christian Auctioneers International (FCAI) and is also a member of the National Auctioneers Association (NAA). Travis is a licensed auctioneer and real estate salesperson in Texas.
Don Gabriel, CCIM, Regional Director, Broker
Don has 30+ years of real estate experience with a special emphasis in the area of institutional investment properties and portfolios. Don holds a B.S. in Marketing from UCLA, is a licensed broker in the states of Kansas and Missouri, and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). Don’s professional career includes over 15 years as an executive/broker at the national level with CB Richard Ellis. He was responsible for implementation, marketing and disposition for assets contained in institutional portfolios. His sales and auction portfolio includes over 100 auctions of commercial retail, office, land & industrial properties totaling over $600 million in both the private and public sectors.
Hank Robinson, Regional Director, Agent
Hank has over 11 years of experience as an Auctioneer specializing in Commercial Real Estate, Residential Real Estate and Intellectual Property. He has been involved in the sale of a large variety of commercial properties including office, hotel, storage, livestock, multi-family, land leases, shopping centers and development tracts. In addition, he is often asked to lend his experience as a former Environmental Consultant when working with heavy industrial and large manufacturing facilities. Hank also has knowledge of the legal side of real estate, where he has previously worked with Bankruptcy Trustees to better understand and evaluate the assets of many real estate and internet technology companies. He continues to focus his efforts in a legal capacity by working with Bankruptcy Attorneys, Commercial Lenders, and both private and publicly held companies to find creative and valuable solutions to their needs. Hank is a graduate of Clemson University, Florida Auctioneer Academy and is a licensed Florida Real Estate Salesperson.
Neil Enslow, CAI, AARE, Regional Director, Auctioneer, Broker
Based in Colorado, Neil has been involved in the auction business since 2007. Prior to entering the auction industry, he served twenty years in the law enforcement field and owned his own manufacturing business. He came into the auction business backwards, first owning an Auction House then became an auctioneer when he graduated from the World Wide College of Auctioneering. Neil has received his Accredited Auctioneer, Real Estate (AARE) designation, Certified Auctioneer’s Institute (CAI) designation and is a Real Estate Broker. He has worked with some of Colorado’s largest auction firms and is experienced in selling personal property, commercial property, and industrial equipment. Neil is an Eagle Scout and a veteran of the US Army, active in his church, and has five children and thirteen grandchildren. He and his wife Georgia make their home in Florence, Colorado.
Georgia Enslow, Lead Generation
Georgia is based in Colorado and comes to AmeriBid with a strong record of success, relevant new business development skills, and the ability to build a strong bond with each prospect and company. With a myriad of experiences stemming from a background in law enforcement, management, sales, and new client development, she came into the real estate auction business with her husband by founding their own auction company in 2007. Together they planned, staged, implemented and participated in auctions in many categories; from personal property to real property, antiques and collectables to commercial liquidations, government surplus to benefit and charity auctions. Georgia used her management skills to supervise auction events and personnel, and was also responsible for the recruitment of buyers for specialty items through networking, referrals and target marketing. Georgia believes that her passion for sales and service excellence makes her the entrepreneurial business development professional that she is today.
Eric Morgan, Regional Director, Auctioneer, Agent
Eric resides in Birmingham, Alabama and over the last 15 years has gained extensive experience in utilizing the auction process to convey ownership of luxury homes, ranches, farms, massive tracts of land, commercial properties, developments and condominiums throughout the United States and abroad. Eric has been involved in auctioning approximately 5,000 properties totaling $1 billion for private individuals, financial institutions and government agencies in 42 states, Canada, Mexico and the Bahamas. Eric currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the Alabama Auctioneers Association and is also an active member of the National Auctioneers Association. Eric is a graduate of Auburn University and is currently a licensed Auctioneer in the State of Alabama and holds real estate licenses in Alabama and Louisiana.
Richard “Ric” Moody, Regional Director, Auctioneer, Broker
Since 1978, Richard “Ric” Moody has been involved in all aspects of Commercial Real Estate: acquisition, disposition, construction, development, property management, 1031 Exchanges, consulting & brokerage and auctioneering. Ric brings this experience to AmeriBid to complement his expertise as an Owner/Developer of: Commercial and Industrial Buildings/Projects, Office, Retail, University Student Housing, Apartments, Single Family Homes, Residential Condominiums, Motels, Restaurants, Health & Racquet Clubs, Nursing Homes, Retirement Housing Complexes and Self-Storage Facilities. Mr. Moody’s knowledge from being on “the other side of the table” for many years has benefited his clients through the process of buying, selling, leasing, exchanging or auctioneering Commercial Real Estate. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business with a degree in Real Estate and the Reppert School of Auctioneering.
Eugene Davidzon, Regional Director, Broker
Eugene is a real estate broker in Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia. He started his career working for a real estate developer and then for a real estate brokerage. In his many years of experience, he has completed thousands of real estate transactions. Mr. Davidzon has marketed, negotiated and closed properties on behalf of this country’s largest financial institutions, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Chase, FDIC and HUD, while adhering to the strictest of client requirements. He negotiates and works hard for his clients. As a true professional, he leverages his ethics, knowledge, and experience to deliver the best possible results. Eugene earned a B.A. in Economics, magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He has his Masters in Urban Planning, also from the University of Michigan, with a focus on housing finance. Eugene is fluent in Russian. He is an avid climber, hiker, and cyclist.
Mike Schultz, CAI, Regional Director, Auctioneer, Agent
Michael has had an extensive career in the real estate and auction business. Michael grew up in the agriculture industry, being actively involved in the rental, purchase and sale of farm properties as a very young person with his father. His background in auctions began by working purebred beef cattle auctions while attending the University of Minnesota in 1972. Michael has been full time in the Auction business since 1978 and a Realtor since 1983. His experience spans real estate and auction transactions in Minnesota, North Dakota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Montana, Canada and the Philippines over the past 35 years. Michael holds an Agri-Business Association of Art degree from the University of Minnesota and is also a graduate of the World Wide College of Auctioneers. He was inducted into the Minnesota Auctioneers Association Hall of Fame in 2009.
Jan Schultz, Regional Director, Auctioneer, Broker
Jan has been a full time Real Estate Broker and Auctioneer since 1983. Her 30 years of experience includes real estate brokerage management, company business and personnel management and auction transactions in Minnesota. She is a licensed auctioneer, Realtor and real estate broker in the state of Minnesota and is an active member of the Minnesota State Auctioneers Association, Minnesota State Auctioneers Foundation, Minnesota Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Jan is a graduate of the World Wide College of Auctioneers, and participates in continuing education in real estate and auctions.

Greg Ganzkow, Real Estate Agent, Multi-Parcel Auction Specialist
Greg heads up the Land & Ranch Division for Coldwell Banker Select and manages G7 ranches, a Multi-Acreage Real Estate Company focusing on country estates, ranches, recreational properties, horse facilities and other multi-acreage investments. Since 2009, Coldwell Banker Select & G7 Ranches have sold over $260,000,000 in acreage sales in over 20 Oklahoma Counties. Ganzkow started G7 Ranches in early 2004 and has grown the business to become the “go-to” individual for some of Oklahoma’s leading businessmen. Greg also owns and operates his own Quarter Horse ranch located 40 minutes south of Tulsa.

David A. Fiegel, CAI, CES, Real Estate Broker, Auctioneer
David is the President of Blackbird Asset Services, LLC, a valuation and auction company providing asset recovery solutions to asset based lenders and distressed asset professionals. In 2010 he left a 14 ½ year relationship with GoIndustry DoveBid, and was most recently Vice President of Sales. In his twenty four years in the auction/appraisal business he has conducted or been involved in the coordination of numerous machinery and equipment and real estate sales, both private and public; involving the sale of commercial and industrial property and equipment. David is past Chapter President for the Upstate New York Turnaround Management Association (TMA), a member of the UNY TMA Board of Directors, a member of TMA International Board of Trustees, Past Chairman of the President’s Council for TMA International. David holds auctioneer and real estate broker licenses in various jurisdictions around the United States.
J. Murph Yule, Real Estate Broker
J. Murph Yule is President of JMY Consulting Services, Inc. of Boston, MA. Founded by Mr. Yule in 1991, the company provides resort/hospitality financial services, real estate analysis, and understanding of value assessments and advises on asset planning, management, marketing, and disposition strategies, with a specialization in ski and golf resort developments and multi-season resort developments and large land plays. Prior to forming his own company, he obtained his experience in the disposition of major regional and destination resorts throughout North America, New Zealand, and Europe. He formerly served as Senior Vice President of The Finch Group, Inc., a multi-discipline real estate development company based in Boston, MA, New York and Boca Raton, Florida. Mr. Yule is a graduate of Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts and the University of New Hampshire in Durham, New Hampshire, with BA Honors in Economics and Political Science. He also graduated from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics, and attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in London, England, pursuing graduate studies in Economics and International Relations. He holds professional real estate brokerage licenses in Massachusetts, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.
Robert E. Shapiro, Real Estate Broker
Robert E. Shapiro is the Executive Vice President of Waterford Development which he founded with Richard Houlding and Peter D’Amato in 1995. The Company has permitted, developed and sold over 1,000 luxury apartment units, 500,000 square feet of office space, 200 single family homes and 500 condominium units since its inception. Using a combination of internal and institutional equity the Company has achieved internal rates of return for its investors of over 30%. Prior to forming Waterford Development, Mr. Shapiro served as President of Eastern Operations of Larry Latham Auctioneers. The company was responsible for the disposition of over $500 million of commercial and residential real estate with major clients including the FDIC, RTC, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, HUD and a host of financial institutions including Bank of Boston, Shawmut Bank, and First NH Bank. Mr. Shapiro is a graduate of Emory University. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Central New England Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. He is a licensed real estate broker in the State of New Hampshire.
